Required Documentation Following a Visa Refusal If the Visa Office informed you that you may resubmit your visa revalidation application with additional or missing documentation, please submit all of the following:
Your resubmission
must be within one year of the date of your refusal letter. If you do
not have time to resubmit a visa revalidation application to the Visa
Office, please make a new application at a U.S. consulate
or embassy abroad. Please see these links for full information on documentation required in E, H, I, L, O, and P visa revalidation applications:
Unless the Visa Office stated in your visa refusal letter that you owe additional fees, there are no additional fees to resubmit a revalidation application with additional documentation. Therefore, do not pay a new nonimmigrant visa application processing fee with your resubmission.
