WELCOME! to Piscataway Park HomePage. The tranquil view from Mount Vernon of the Maryland shore of the Potomac is preserved as a pilot project in the use of easements to protect parklands from obtrusive urban expansion. The project began in 1952 to preserve the river view as in was during George Washington's day. Piscataway Park stretches for 6 miles from Piscataway Creek to Marshall Hall on the Potomac River.

Established: October 4, 1961.

DIRECTIONS TO PISCATAWAY:
Take Exit 3A from the Capital Beltway (I-95) to Rt. 210S
(Indian Head Highway) 10 miles to the intersection in Accokeek.
Turn right onto Bryan's Point Road and go 4 mile to the Potomac River.

VISITOR ACTIVITIES:
-Picknicking, fishing, bird watching and farm tours.
-Facilities include a picnic area, a dock and the Natinal Colonial Farm.
-The Park is open daily during daylight hours.

PERMITS, FEES & LIMITATIONS:
-$4.00 per vehicle entrance fee.
-A fee is charged for tours of the National Colonial Farm.

CAMPING & LODGING:
-Overnight accommodations are available in suburban Maryland or metropolitan DC. Camping is not permitted.

FOOD & SUPPLIES:
-Available in shopping centers along Rt. 210.
