Born April 20, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois, son of Ernest James and Elizabeth Street. Married Elizabeth Jane Sheeren June 1942; Married, Maryan Mulholland Simon, December 1979. Children: John Joseph, Kathryn Stevens Jedlicka, Elizabeth Jane and Susan Roberta.
