National Academy of Sciences (NAS) is an independent, quasi-federal organization addressing public policy and research interests across the U.S. scientific community.

National Research Council (NRC) produces research reports on a wide variety of scientific and technological policy issues, including education.

National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) provides information on science teaching at all levels.

Petersons Information Center provides search capabilities for locating institutions that offer specific programs of study at all postsecondary levels.

Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society is a national scientific honor society that provides information for students on scientific careers and activities.
