dc.description.abstract A Monte Carlo analysis based on a recent thermodynamic model for jets is used to model quark fragmentation into hadrons. Quantitative estimates of the baryon-to-meson ratio NBNM and kaon and hyperon production are made. © 1984 The American Physical Society.
