dc.description.abstract Mixed imine-amide pyrrolobenzodiazepine dimers have been prepared which exhibit potent antitumour activity and have significant DNA binding affinity; one of them, 1c, has been shown to cause a remarkable rise in the melting temperature of calf thymus DNA.
