dc.description.abstract This Paper describes Traffic Maintenance System as a Grid System and proposes an approach for reducing congestion on road traffic. It introduces terminology, notations and evolves congestion controlling strategy. The steps used in this strategy such as clustering, scheduling and communication are described with an illustrative example. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
