Abstract
Although extremely rare, Acanthamoeba infection may present as recurrent endophthalmitis following penetrating injury. This report describes a 5-year-old boy who developed Acanthamoeba endophthalmitis following penetrating trauma. © 2007 Scientific Communications International Limited.
